Network Marketing is an Asset, Not a Job
The network marketing system is open to everyone – unlike traditional corporate systems which allow only 1 person to reach the top of the company. People who do not reach the top simply quit too soon. But why would someone quit just before reaching success? Because they join only to make money. If they don’t make money in the first few months, they get discouraged and quit: then bad-mouth the industry saying it doesn’t work. They move on to other companies they believe have a better compensation plan and repeat the same process.
The major reason you should come to the business is to get away from the E (Employee) quadrant or the S (Self-employed!) That should be your motivation, to move to the B (Business owner) or I (Investor) quadrant.
People do not reach the top of the network marketing system because they want money more than they want to change quadrants. You will begin to make money when you help others leave the E and S quadrants and lead them to succeed in the B and I quadrants. If you focus on helping others make this shift, then YOU will be successful in the business.
People who can delay gratification lead more successful lives than those who do not. Lesson #1 in Robert Kyosaki’s book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad is that “The rich don’t work for money.” Begin building an asset that works hard to make money for you and it will make you richer and richer, while working less and less. That is what the rich do. The poor and middle class work hard for money – they buy liabilities instead of investing in assets.
